About Us
Among Friends Adult Day Care, Inc was first begun in April of 1997 with just one client. Over the years, we learned the important aspects of caring for those who need our special care and love. We now have 2 locations and have served 1000’s of seniors and their families.

A Day at Among Friends

Since 2000, Among Friends has been part of the Illinois Community Care Program (CCP). This means that for families whose loved ones have a financial constraint, and either qualify for or are currently on Medicaid, assistance is available through the Illinois Department on Aging.

What’s Best for the Guest!

We use the BEST available catering service. The Country House Restaurant (Crestwood, IL) has been providing our delicious, nutritious lunches for over five years. Based on a five-week meal rotation, our menus have been developed with the help of a registered nutritionist and meet the rigid specifications of the federal Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP).

Our staff is also dedicated to the “Best for the Guest” philosophy. We have devoted professionals who have spent years with our program in order to provide the best service possible for all who attend. We see our clients as individuals, with individual needs, and everyone is treated as such.
